Nothing compares to the feeling I get when I help a student discover the magic of reading.  My experiences have taught me that it is never too late to turn a non-reader into a reader--IT JUST TAKES THE RIGHT BOOK!

This website is devoted to helping teachers find fun and innovative ways to connect kids to all types of literature and to provide support for teachers willing to "teach outside the box".  In addition to posting the handouts from my presentations, I will also post teaching strategies that I have found to be successful with reluctant readers, so please check back frequently!
